Andrew Donald Brain, 83, The Villages, FL, passed from this life Wednesday, November 26, 2014. Born in Duck Hollow, PA he was the son of the late Andrew and Marianne (Smith) Brain. Andrew was a marketing manager for Nabisco/Kraft Foods of West Virginia and New Jersey. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. Andrew came to The Villages from Savannah, GA in 2004. He enjoyed golf and bowling and was an avid reader. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Dolores “Dee” Marie (Thibaut) Brain, daughter, Anita Wilson (Christopher) of Greensboro, NC, son, Andrew Brain (Kim) of Burlington, NC, daughter, Alice Homar (Richard) of Stroudsburg, PA, son, Patrick Brain (Elena) of Germantown, PA, 3 sisters, Nancy Agnew of Marathon, FL, Estella Delgado of San Jose, CA, Jessie Gregory of Leland, NC and 4 grandchildren, Jessica, Kyle, Glen and Julia.
The family will receive relatives and friends at a visitation to be held on Sunday, November 30, 2014 at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd., The Villages from 4 to 7 p.m. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Savannah, GA.
