Villager Sharon Borovay knows what she wants to see in 2015.
She wants to see a Trader Joe’s in The Villages.
She moved here from Long Island where she was a loyal Trader Joe’s shopper. But now the Village of Tamarind Grove resident has to drive to Winter Park or Gainesville to shop at the grocer whose roots date back to the 1950s in California.
There are currently 418 Trader Joe’s stores located across the United States.
“I love their dried fruit, big $5 bars of chocolate and frozen dinners,” Borovay said.
She has launched a Facebook campaign aimed at bringing Trader Joe’s to The Villages.
