The Florida Highway Patrol has released the names of an Ohio couple killed along with their dogs in an accident Wednesday on the Florida Turnpike.
Cameron Pytel, 52, and Alicia Chaves, 58, both of Westerville, Ohio, were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident which occurred at 6:20 a.m. Wednesday on the turnpike at Mile Marker 202 in Osceola County.
Their vehicle had been approaching the scene of another accident when Pytel swerved to avoid the crash and his vehicle overturned, according to an FHP report.
Two dogs in their vehicle were also killed, the FHP report indicated.
The crash remains under investigation.
