An Oxford woman was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence early Monday morning on a charge of driving under the influence.
Sharon A. Yeadon, 57, had been driving on State Road 44 at County Road 219 when she was pulled over by a Sumter County sheriff’s deputy.
The deputy suspected Yeadon had been drinking and asked her to complete field sobriety exercises which she failed.
She was transported to the Sumter County Detention Center where bond was set at $1,000.
