Rolling Acres Self Storage Facility is planning to add 72 storage units specifically for RVs and boats.
The request from owner Tree Tops Golf Inc. was approved Monday night by the Lady Lake Planning and Zoning Board.
Over the past year, Tree Tops Golf, near the intersection of Rolling Acres Road and County Road 466 has converted from its driving range to 800 storage units.
Owner Michael Girard said RV owners will have access to a sewage/dump station. Wi-Fi will be available to them and they will have garage-door openers so they can drive right in.
The proposal will have two readings in March before the Lady Lake Commission.
