Conrad Barry Tripp, 79, passed away, Saturday February 14, 2015. He was a long time resident of The Villages residing here since 1994. He was born in Easton, PA and graduated from Nazareth High School. Served in the U.S. Air Force and honorably discharged in 1957. Conrad retired from IBM in 1987. He then pursued other interests in Real Estate, purchased a Deli in New York, and ultimately started a tornado shelter business in Central Florida. He enjoyed playing tennis, guitar, and piano. Conrad was a devoted husband, father and is survived by his Wife, Pat; Sons Jeffrey Scott (Predeceased) Mike (Kelly), Dave (Christine), Doug (Cindy); Grandchildren, Brian, Shawn, Christopher, and Steven; Great-Grandchildren, Christopher, Matthew and Jack. He also leaves behind one Sister, Mary Ann (Bill) Orsinger, two Step-Children Melissa Francis and Philip Maldonado; and two Step-Grandchildren, Sonya Cooper and Sarina Francis. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2015, at Hope Lutheran Church, Corner of Morse Blvd. and 466, 250 Avenida Los Angelos,The Villages, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in memory of Conrad Tripp to American Cancer Society, 1430 Prudential Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32207 or via telephone 1-800-227-2345.
