The Benchmark Group has presented a site plan to the Lady Lake Commission for a 4,500-square-foot retail space that would be located across from the new McDonald’s at the southwest corner of U.S. Hwy. 27/441 and Fennell Boulevard.
The Benchmark Group, which has developed Sam’s Club and other retail in the area, will be constructing the building.
Construction would start in mid-April. Benchmark would be turning over the property to the retailer in August with an opening targeted for November.
The retailer was not named in a conceptualĀ plan presentation made Wednesday afternoon to the Lady Lake Commission.
