
The first meeting of 2015 for the Villages Republican Club of Sumter County will be Thursday, Feb. 26 at the Savannah Center.
Peter Schramm will be the guest speaker. He is a professor of political science at Ashland University in Ashland, Ohio. He is also director of the Ashbrook Scholar Program and Senior Fellow at the John M. Ashbrook Center for Public Affairs. His topic will be “What the Republican Party Should Stand For.”
The Villages Republican Club of Sumter County meets at 7 p.m. the fourth Thursday of each month, January through October. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for socializing and refreshments.
