Amenity Authority Committee members Ann Forrester and Carl Bell will represent the AAC at an upcoming meeting on golf cart safety on multi-modal paths.
Forrester and Bell both indicated at Wednesday’s AAC meeting that they want to attend the upcoming meeting that is to include members of the Project Wide Advisory Committee, representatives of the Community Development Districts north of County Road 466, and a representative of the AAC.
To allow Bell and Forrester to attend the meeting, public notice will be issued in accordance with the state’s Sunshine Law.
District Manager Janet Tutt said the meeting is about golf cart safety on the paths and not exclusively about striping on the paths. Striping has been a hot topic at Community Development District meetings over the past several months.
Bell said he wants to learn more about striping and specifically pointed out that striping is on the golf cart bridge over U.S. Hwy. 27/441.
“If striping is wrong, why is it right there?” Bell asked.
A date for the meeting has not been announced.
