IHOP scored 4 runs in the top of the 7th inning and held off a late Babiarz rally to advance to the Championship game. The upset win was led by Duane Broschat’s 4 hits and 3 hits each from Pete McCaffery, Al DuBuc and Bill Reed. Bill also had 5 RBI’s in the game. In the loss Babiarz got 4 hits each from Chuck Mays, Felix Rodriquez(2 RBI’s) and Jerry Jensen(2 RBI’s). Manager Bob Winder had 2 hits and 5 RBI’s.

Number one seed Fross & Fross jumped all over Paul Davis and mercy ruled them in 5 innings to advance to the Championship game. Pitcher Jim Joseph held Paul Davis to a mere 4 hits in the game. Their offense was led by Mike Hyott(2 RBI’s), John Hoover(3 RBI’s) and Jim Joseph(2 RBI’s) who all had 3 hits.

IHOP repeated what they did in the semifinal game by scoring 4 runs in the top of the 7th inning and holding off a late Fross&Fross rally to win the Playoff Championship. They had some hot hitters in the contest. Will Kutter led with 4 hits, Bill Reed had 3 hits including a home run, Duane Broschat had 3 hits, Al DuBuc had 3 hits/4RBI’s including a home run, Pete McCaffery had 2 hits and 4 RBI’s while Wayne Mallory had 2 hits/5 RBI’s including a home run. In the hard luck loss, Fross&Fross was led by John Hoover, Carl McWilliams(4 RBI’s) and pitcher Jim Joseph(4 RBI’s) who all had 3 hits. Dave Pope added 2 hits and 3 RBI’s.
