Kathleen Holland Dushinski, 71, of The Villages, FL, passed away Friday April 3, 2015. Kathleen was born in Chelsea, MA on August 2, 1943 and was the oldest child of the late Daniel F. and Catherine Holland of Chelsea, MA. She worked in the banking industry before retiring from MassBank and moving to Florida. She loved spending time with her family, traveling, reading, and her cats. Kathleen is remembered and will be dearly missed by her devoted husband of 54 years, Richard R. Dushinski, her two children, Denise Herrera of Malden, MA and Barbra Edins of Eustis, FL, her six grandchildren, one great grandchild and her three sisters, Dianne Milford of N. Reading, MA, Patricia Arsenault of Saugus, MA, and Joanne Fitzpatrick of N. Reading, MA. The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her name to the American Diabetes Association. A memorial service will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home, 1511 Buenos Aires Boulevard, The Villages, FL, at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2015. The family will receive friends following the service until 3 p.m.
