Paul G. Giese, 73, of The Villages, FL, passed away at Shands Medical Center on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2015. He was born in Baltimore, MD on July 11, 1941 to Paul and Louise Giese who preceded him in death. Paul enjoyed golf, reading and World War II movies on the History Channel. He was in Industrial Sales all of his life and traveled extensively in the United State and Europe. Paul served his country in the U. S. Navy from 1963-67 and was a specialist in radar and radar counter measures equipment maintenance. Paul was predeceased by his wife, Wendy Giese in 2005. He leaves his fiancée and most special friend, Suzy Ferguson, daughter, Amy Mullett (Tom) of Cincinnati, OH, sons, Jeff Giese (Kim) of Monroe, GA, Tom Giese (Liz) of Lawrenceville, GA, brothers, Bob Giese of Lake Worth, FL, Michael Giese (Sigrid) of West Melbourne, FL, George Boettcher of Savannah, GA, sister, Lisa Waldroupe of Greenville, TN and grandchildren, Shannon, Elizabeth, Jesse, Kylie, Cole and Bailey. The family will receive relatives and friends at a Gathering to be held Friday, April 17, 2015 from 11 – 1 p.m. at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Service 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd., The Villages, Florida. Committal services in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL will follow at 2:30 p.m.
