Dorothy Marie Walter, age 80, of The Villages, FL, died at Osprey Lodge in Tavares, Florida on April 13, 2015. Born September 24, 1934 in Berlin, Illinois, she lived and worked in Springfield, Illinois most of her adult life before moving to Central Florida and The Villages in 2005. She retired from the State of Illinois after many years of employment. Survivors include her brother Jim Walter of The Villages, Florida, her niece Teri Roscetti of Sherman, Illinois and nephew Steve Walter of New Berlin, Illinois. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Margret Walter, and siblings Betty and Elliott. Dorothy had requested no services to be held and any memorial contributions should be directed to your local humane society in her honor.
