72-year-old motorcyclist injured during BikeFest

The Leesburg Police Department is investigating an accident that left a 72-year-old motorcyclist seriously injured Friday night on U.S. Hwy. 441 near Gator Harley-Davidson.

Thousands of motorcyclists have descended on Leesburg for the annual BikeFest this weekend.

The accident occurred at about 8:30 p.m. Friday. The victim has been identified as James L. Mulvaney of Leesburg.
