On Nov. 19, 2014 the Florida Highway Patrol responded to a deadly hit and run crash on NE Jacksonville Road and County Road 329. Twenty-year-old Dylan S. Bryant was traveling northbound on NE Jacksonville Road on his way home from work. Bryant’s 2010 scooter was struck from behind by a 2014 Nissan Maxima traveling at a high rate of speed. Bryant was ejected from his scooter and expired at the scene. The driver of the Nissan fled the area. FHP investigators continue to follow leads and are urging the public to come forward and help Bryant’s family obtain answers to this horrible tragedy.
