A Villager was transported to The Villages Regional Hospital last week after her golf cart collided with a car that was backing from a parking spot on Del Mar Drive.
Jacqueline D. Marra, 79, had been eastbound on Del Mar Drive at 4:55 p.m. April 30 when her golf cart collided with a vehicle driven by Deanna L. Miller, 67, of The Villages.
Marra was ejected from the golf cart in the accident, according to an accident report from the Lady Lake Police Department. She was transported from the scene of the accident by Lake EMS. Miller was ticketed on a charge of improper backing.
