Margaret Era (Wolter) English, of The Villages, FL, went peacefully from this world on May 19, 2015, into the arms of Jesus, her Saviour. Margaret was the beloved wife for 47 years of James Lee English. She was the step-mother of Tory Lee English, Traci Lynn (English) Berger, and Todd Lee (English) Cooper. Margaret was also the grandmother of Jacob Berger, Jared Berger, Adrian English, Joshua English, Janet Cooper, Tori Lynn Cooper, and Jordan Cooper. Margaret is survived by her brother, Herman Wolter and his wife, Alice “Bee” Wolter, of Marietta, Georgia. She also is survived by nieces Krista Skelton and Juanita Lovell, and nephews Rudy Wolter, Fred Wolter and Roger Young, as well as several great nieces and nephews. Margaret was born in Hazel Park, Michigan on August 7, 1927. She taught kindergarten for 32 years at the Hoover Elementary School in Hazel Park. Margaret received Jesus as her Saviour at an early age and served Him in many capacities during her life. Most recently she was Music Librarian and choir member at the First Baptist Church of the Villages of which she was a member. She was also a member and Social Coordinator of the Truth Seekers Bible Class at FBCATV. A celebration of Margaret’s life to honor her memory will be held in the Fellowship Hall of the Church at 10 a.m., Saturday morning. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any of the following programs of the First Baptist Church at the Villages: the music ministry, the church library, Congregational Care or any charity of your choice.
