To the Editor:
I think many people have lost their focus on the multi-model path issue. If we have money to spend on improvements, which I don’t think we do, why in the world would we spend it on putting some type of indicator on the side of the paths? We already gave in to pressure and put indicators down the center. Isn’t the best solution to just slow down? Isn’t the problem associated with people who want to complain about anything instead of real problems? After all, when I’m out late at night I see very few carts on the paths after 9 p.m. and almost no carts after 10 p.m. So what’s the reason for the expenditure? Are we preparing for a snowstorm?
