Barbara Ann Heusinkveld, 73, passed from this life on Wednesday, September 2, 2015. She was born in Morrison, IL and was the daughter of the late Robert Houseman and Lorraine (Rick) Minssen. Barbara retired from General Electric where she was a Secretary. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who took great pride in her family and marriage of 56 years to her husband Harvey. She was a talented seamstress, enjoyed arts and crafts and had a special knack for house decorating. Barbara moved to The Villages, Florida in 1999. She loved her Village home and enjoyed golf, attending Happy Hour’s, reading books and computing on her Kindle. Besides her parents, Barbara was predeceased by a son, Randy J. Heusinkveld in 2000. She leaves her husband, Harvey J. Heusinkveld, sons, Mark Heusinkveld (Traci) of Morrison, IL, Michael Heusinkveld (Lisa) of Clinton, IA, a sister, Marilyn Lamb of Clewiston, FL, half-sisters, Terry Durham of Rock Falls, IL, Denise Houseman of Boston, MA, half-brother, Gary Milnes of Morrison, IL and her four grandchildren Adam, Aubrey, Kyle and Randi.A Committal Service will be held at a later date in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
