Peek inside the new Stein Mart at Lady Lake Crossing, and you will see plenty of holiday-themed products lining the store shelves. The wait to peruse those store shelves will soon be over.
The store has announced Oct. 22 as its grand opening date.
The store is the anchor of a new 52,000-square-foot retail development behind McDonalds and Tire Kingdom on U.S. Hwy. 27/441 in Lady Lake.
Stein Mart occupies 32,000-square-feet of the development.
Stein Mart is an upscale, boutique-style men and women’s department store chain based in Jacksonville. The company reported a profit of $25.6 million in 2013 with operation of 260 stores in 29 states.
Meanwhile next door, ULTA Beauty is also progressing quickly. An opening date for ULTA Beauty has not been announced.
Founded in 1990, ULTA Beauty bills itself as the largest beauty retailer that provides one-stop shopping for prestige, mass and salon products and salon services in the United States, beauty superstore with the distinctive environment and experience of a specialty retailer.
A third tenant will be coming into the retail space, but that tenant has yet to be identified.
The retail space is being developed by Benchmark Development Corp.
