Rainey Construction has scheduled a traffic shift beginning Monday, Oct. 26, along County Road 466A between from the Lake/Sumter County line to Windy Hill Acres. Motorists will be diverted onto the newly paved portion of the future four-lane roadway while construction crews work on the north side of the road, which will become the future westbound lanes once construction is completed.
Speed limits will be reduced from 45 mph to 35 mph during construction. Motorists should exercise caution in the area and can expect some traffic delays while roadwork is underway.
The four-lane expansion of County Road 466A is expected to be completed by April 2016.
