Sidney Lawrence Vaughn, 81, The Villages, FL, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2015, in The Villages Hospice House. Sidney was born in Paducah, Texas to Alice and Frank Vaughn on September 2, 1934. Sidney worked as the Director of Administration for Duval Corporation, a mining subsidiary of Pennzoil. He and his wife, Ann, moved to The Villages in 2003 from Houston, Texas. Sidney is survived by his wife Ann, of 32 years, and 2 children, 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren – son Larry Vaughn and wife Jodie, Houston, Texas; daughter Jeanne Parker and husband Ken, Houston, Texas; granddaughter April Wardenburg and husband Pete, Houston, Texas; grandson Andrew Vaughn and wife Kim, New York, New York; granddaughter Hannah Parker and grandson James Parker, Houston, Texas; brother JB Vaughn and wife Jackie, Carlsbad, New Mexico; and sister Katherine Welch and husband Billy, Amarillo, Texas. He was pre-deceased by two sisters, Gladys Sulser, The Villages, Florida and Clara Mae Jones, Earth, Texas. A service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 3 p.m. at North Lake Presbyterian Church, 975 Rolling Acres Road, Lady Lake, Florida.
