Catherine Mary Faivre, age 81, of The Villages, FL, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2016 under the care of The Villages Hospice House, The Villages, FL. She was the wife of the late Eugene R. Faivre who preceded her in death on June 2, 2012 and Pasquale G. Adamo who preceded her on October 2, 1989.
Born in New York, NY she was a daughter of the late Thomas E. and Margaret Reilly. Prior to her retirement she worked in Accounts Receivable for Reuters News Agency, Long Island, NY. She was a member of St. Timothy’s Catholic Community, The Villages, FL. She was a Past President of the Joseph Loeffler American Legion Auxiliary, Post 1006 , Brentwood, NY serving 4 terms. She enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling.
She will be deeply missed by her daughters: Kathleen Tilenius of Lake Ariel, PA, Patricia wife of Thomas Hines of Kings Park, NY and Susie wife of Samuel Rodriguez of Central Islip, NY and sons: Robert Adamo of Stony Brook, NY and Michael Adamo of Brentwood, NY. She has 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and her devoted pet, Peanut. She is also survived by a brother, Edward Reilly and his wife Angel of The Villages, FL. She was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Wynne.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 8, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church, The Villages, FL. Interment will be at the Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY.
