Robert L. Eicher, of The Villages, FL, passed January 7, 2016 of Parkinson Disease complications. Age 85; beloved husband of Karen (nee Alexander); dear father of Jonathan (Elizabeth) and Cynthia (Thomas) Bidzilya; loving grandfather of 7 and great grandfather of 4; also survived by many relatives and friends; predeceased by 3 sons: Greg D., Eric E. and Kirk B. and 2 brothers: Major General William E., USA and Richard A.
Bob was a Korean Conflict Naval Veteran. His career spanned 35 years as a school administrator in Cincinnati, Ohio; Kenmore, NY; Great Neck, NY and Amherst, NY. He was a member of The American Legion, The Grand Lodge F. & A.M. of Ohio and U.S. Capitol Page Alumni Association.
Private services will be held at Dayton National Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio at the convenience of the family. Expressions of sympathy may be made to The Shriners Children Hospital.
