A 71-year-old Summerfield man has reported the theft of prescription pills and cash from his home on SE 135th Street.
The man told a Marion County sheriff’s deputy that between $900 and $1,000 had been taken from a drawer in his kitchen. He said six oxycontin pills he had saved from a previous injury were also missing. The items had gone missing earlier in the month, but the man decided to report the missing items at the urging of friends.
