Villagers gathered Friday night at City Fire in Lake Sumter Landing for the Orlando Magic watch party.

The event began at 6 p.m., with a pre-party; invitation only to some of the team leaders who will be performing at the March 2 Villages Senior Takeover Game.
Included in the pre-party were representatives of The Villages Twirlers and Drum Corps, Music in Motion and various veterans groups. A portion of each ticket will be donated to from The Orlando Magic organization from the March 2 game as the Magic take on the Chicago Bulls.
At 7 p.m. City Fire was opened up to all Villages residents to meet two of the former NBA basketball stars, Bo Outlaw and Nick Anderson. Also present were the Magic Blue Crew and the Orlando Magic Dancers as they cheered on the Magic as they faced the Boston Celtics.
Tickets can still be purchased at The Villages Box office for anyone that would want to attend “Villages Takeover Night” on March 2. Included in the ticket are round trip buses will take you down from Lake Sumter Depot, game tickets and a golf towel.
