A 31-year-old Summerfield woman is free on $1,000 bond after she allegedly took items including a “Hangover” DVD and yoga pants Thursday evening from Wal-Mart at Buffalo Ridge shopping plaza in The Villages.
Amanda Nicole Fordyce entered the store shortly before 6:30 p.m. and put the yoga pants, DVD, green beans, a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles DVD, T-shirts, a candle and donut sticks in a shopping bag and attempted to leave the store without paying for the items, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. Fordyce was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center and released after posting $1,000 bond.
