A 49-year-old Lady Lake man was arrested after allegedly causing a scene Sunday afternoon at Margarita Republic.

James G. Anderson was sitting in the bar area of the restaurant in Spanish Springs Town Square talking on his cell phone with someone when he was cursing and complaining very loudly about how unsatisfied he was with the service at the restaurant, according to an arrest report from the Lake County Police Department. When the restaurant’s manager asked Anderson to pay for an unpaid tab, Anderson responded with profane language, the report indicated.

After an argument between Anderson and the manager, Anderson began cursing at other customers, almost causing a physical fight with a female customer’s husband after cursing at his wife, the report stated.

Anderson eventually reluctantly paid for his tab after police were called to the scene and was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct, according to the report. He was booked at Lake County Jail.
