A 51-year-old man has been ordered to stay out of Kohl’s after he allegedly tried to walk out of the store in a pair of stolen shoes.
Glen E. Reed of Belleview allegedly entered the store Saturday night and went to the shoe department where he removed his Sketchers shoes and put on a pair of new FILA shoes, according to an incident report from the Lady Lake Police Department. He put his old shoes in the shoe box and replaced it. As he attempted to leave the store, he was stopped by a loss prevention officer.
He was issued a notice to appear Feb. 20 in Lake County Court and ordered to stay out of the store.
