Margaret Anne Mooney, age 77, of The Villages, FL, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2016 under the care of The Villages Hospice House, The Villages, FL. She was the wife of John F. Mooney, they were married 60 years.
Born in New York, NY she was a daughter of the late Charles and Rose Anderson. Her greatest joy was to spend time with her family. She enjoyed socializing with her friends in The Villages and loved to garden.
She will be deeply missed by her husband, John and sons: John F. Mooney, Jr. and his wife Kathy Davis of Gig Harbor, WA; Michael Mooney and his wife Lorin of Randolph, NJ; Stephen Mooney of Dana Point, CA; Mark Mooney of Stratford, Ct and David Mooney and his wife Bonnie Reynolds of Stratford, CT. She was the proud grandmother of 9. She is also survived by brother, Charles Anderson an d his wife Kristen of New Canaan, Ct. and sister, Joan wife of David Haddon of Norwalk, CT. She was predeceased by her parents and son: James and sister: Rosemarie Podwoski.
