Robert C. Jones, 75, of Wildwood, FL, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2016. Mr. Jones was born September 9, 1940 in Kingsport, TN to Thomas and Sybil (Patterson) Jones. He was retired from both the U.S. Navy, serving during Vietnam and Civil Service. He has wintered in Wildwood since 2005 living in Dahlgren, VA in the summers. He was a member of the Adamsville Baptist Church in Wildwood and the Age of Grace Baptist Church in Bartow, VA. He also belonged to the Colonial Beach Art Guild in Colonial Beach, VA and loved to fish and paint. Survivors include his loving wife of 37 years, Sharon; daughter, Robin Warzywak (Nicholas) of Wake Forest, NC; sons, Hugh Jones (Yvette) of King George, VA and Ernie Jones (Bonnie) of MacClenny, FL and 10 grandchildren. Family and friends will celebrate his life 3 p.m., Friday, March 4, 2016 in the Adamsville Baptist Church.
