A man suspected of attempting to steal an item Thursday evening from Wal-Mart in Summerfield fled the store after he was confronted by a loss prevention officer.
The man attempted to take a Vizio sound bar from the store without paying for it at about 7 p.m. Thursday, according to an incident report from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. When he was confronted by store personnel, he fled the parking lot in a four-door Cadillac.
