Atlantic City Boys and Paul Vesco band played before 80 000 fans at NASCAR race in Las Vegas.

Paul Vesco and his band and singers recently played before 80,000 NASCAR fans in Las Vegas.

The Johnny Cool Swing Band – with Vesco, Clark Barrios, France Neil and Cathy Merkel – performs April 30 in the Savannah Center.
But earlier this month, the Atlantic City Boys, featuring Barrios and backed by Vesco’s Orchestra, performed at the NASCAR Kobalt 400 race at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Nearly 80,000 spectators turned up to watch the race.

Vesco’s group had been performing at the South Point Hotel & Casino in Vegas, and a NASCAR team saw the show.
“They asked us to play at the race and we were happy to do it,” Vesco said. “A lot of people think the Atlantic City Boys and some of my other acts only perform in The Villages. We play all over Florida and have gigs scheduled for Chicago, Los Angeles, Massachusetts and Ohio. I am already talking with the South Point Casino for a return engagement in Vegas.”
But Vesco’s favorite stop on the entertainment traveling circuit is close by and close to his heart.
“We love to play The Villages.”
