A 27-year-old woman was arrested on a felony charge of grand retail theft after she allegedly took items from Kohl’s without paying for them.
Britteny Berliene Kellar entered the store at 6:15 p.m. Friday and selected 108 items, mostly women’s clothing, children’s clothing and makeup. She then went into a women’s fitting room, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. She attempted to leave the store at about 8 p.m. but she was stopped by a loss prevention officer who found several items of merchandise in her bag.
She was booked at the Lake County Jail and released after posting $2,000 bond.
