Fuel was stolen from a van Sunday night while it was parked at Public Storage on U.S. 441 in Summerfield.
The owner of Public Storage reported that his company van had been parked overnight at the business. He had noticed a small hole in the van’s fuel tank, as if someone had drilled a hole into it, according to an incident report from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
The van’s fuel tank had been full prior to the incident.
A cut in the chain link fence at the business was also discovered.
