John D. Aspinwall, age 35 of Fruitland Park, Florida, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2016. John was born in Eustis, Florida on March 27, 1981. He was graduate of Leesburg High School, class of 1999.
John was raised on his Nana and Papa’s farm where his love for the outdoors began. John spent many days in the garden with his Papa, roaming the property looking for the best trees to climb, building forts to enjoy with his friends, and keeping his Nana on her toes. He learned at a young age that home is where the heart is.
John’s greatest joy in life was his precious son JD. Some of his happiest moments were spent with his boy teaching him how to build things, grow a garden, and all the things he learned early on and cherished. John felt his son was his greatest accomplishment.
John was preceded in death by his Papa and Nana, John and Frances Lane.
He is survived by his son John Daniel Aspinwall Jr. (JD), mother Pamela Sharpe, father Daniel C. Aspinwall, brother; Harrison Sharpe, 2 sisters; Christina Butts and Dottie Pratt. John is also survived by several nephews, nieces, and many other family members that loved him dearly.
John was well known for his contagious smile, a true reflection of his heart, which was always open to show love to others. He never missed an opportunity to tell those he cared for that he loved them. He loved to laugh and make others laugh. He will missed and to those whose life he touched he will never be forgotten.
John’s family will be holding their own private memorial service.
