Four children and three adults suffered injuries Sunday night in a head-on collision on State Road 50 in Sumter County.

The accident took place at 10:45 p.m. on SR50 west of County Road 471, according to Sumter County Fire & EMS Chief Leland Greek.

One vehicle was involved in a roll-over, while the other exited the road into the woods.

All of the injuries were transported to area hospitals in stable condition.
