A Lake Weir High School math teacher has been placed on administrative after flipping desks on Monday after a cell phone went off in class.
Kevin James Davis, 47, had been teaching math when a cell phone went off, according to an incident report from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. He allegedly used profanity and flipped over several desks.
He was placed on administrative leave and escorted off campus pending the outcome of the school’s investigation.
