The general manager of the Waterfront Inn has been subpoenaed to testify in the drunk driving case of “America’s Psychologist.”

Anne-Renee Testa, who bills herself as “America’s Psychologist and Relationship Coach,” was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence Jan. 30 in the parking lot of the Lake Sumter Landing hotel.

A Sumter County sheriff’s deputy who was investigating a complaint of a reckless driver, found the 73-year-old in the driver’s seat of a still-running dark blue Mustang at about 7 p.m. that evening. The deputy asked Testa, the author of “The Bully in Your Relationship,” if she had been drinking and she said she had consumed two glasses of wine. She became belligerent and combative when the deputy arrested her. Her breath samples registered .181 and .174 blood alcohol content. You can read more about her original arrest HERE
