A woman was transported to Ocala Regional Medical Center after her car struck a cement utility pole at 3:23 p.m. Tuesday on Main Street in Bushnell.
Sumter County Fire & EMS personnel arrived on the scene and were able to free the woman after “live” power lines landed on top of the car. The accident remains under investigation by the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.
