A 32-year-old Summerfield man was arrested after an argument with a woman over the dishes turned physical.
Charles Preston Carter was arrested on a charge of simple domestic battery Wednesday night at his on on SE 142nd Lane, according to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. During the argument, Carter allegedly grabbed the woman by the throat and pushed her against a fence in their driveway.
Two witnessed backed up the victim’s story, the arrest report indicated.
Carter, who was already on probation, was booked at the Marion County Jail.
