Santo ‘Sam’ Farina III

Santo “Sam” Farina, 76, of The Villages, FL, passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2016. Born on July 22, 1939 in Gloucester, Massachusetts. Sam was a retired UPS driver and drove for 32 years. He is in the UPS Hall of Fame. Sam and his wife moved here 10 years ago from Salem, MA. He loved bowling, movies, and cards. He was a devoted husband, dad, pup pup (grandfather) and friend. He will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his wife Betty of 33 years, children; Joseph T ( Mary)Seward of Stoneham, MA, Cheryl Pieri of Salem, MA, Gayle ( Dan) Pado of Newark Valley, NY, three grandchildren; Patrick Pieri, Samuel Pieri, and Christian Pado. Several nieces and nephews and two brothers; Thomas (Nancy) Farina of South Boston, MA, and Frank (Virginia) Farina of Gloucester, MA.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 from 2:00 PM to 3:00PM with a service at 3:00PM at Beyers Funeral Home Chapel, Lady Lake, FL. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Lung Association, 6852 Belfort Oaks Place, Jacksonville, FL 32216 and or Christian Food Pantry, 103 High Avenue, Lady Lake, FL 32159.
