A 31-year-old Summerfield was arrested Sunday night on a charge of driving under the influence.
Matthew Allan Kibbey had been driving on U.S. Hwy. 441 when he was pulled over for having no taglight, according to an arrest report from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
The deputy suspected Kibbey had been drinking and Kibbey admitted he had consumed a few beers earlier that evening, the arrest report indicated. Kibbey failed field sobriety exercises.
He provided breath samples that measured .053 and .051 blood alcohol level. Because his intoxication level did not seem to match his blood alcohol content, the deputy requested a urine sample which Kibbey provided.
He was booked at the Marion County Jail.
