A resident of Stonecrest reported the theft of $2,640 worth of clothing, DVDs and other valuables.
The woman, who lives on SE 114th Court, contacted the Marion County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday and reported that she went to unpack one of her suitcases and discovered that a Neiman Marcus jacket valued at $500 and a dress valued at $280 were missing. Also missing were her eyeglasses, four crystal ashtrays and 100 DVD movies valued at $1,500.
The case remains under investigation. The Stonecrester provided law enforcement with the name of a possible suspect.
