
William “Bill” Earl Lloyd, Jr., 66, of The Villages, FL, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Shands at the University of Florida in Gainesville. Bill was born in Cortland, New York and was an avid Ice Skater in his younger years. He loved to restore antiques, and made it his life’s work. He enjoyed dancing, singing and listening to his favorite Motown artists. He had a great sense of humor and loved helping others, especially with their health through nutrition. Bill enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
Survivors include Joy Lloyd, loving wife of 11 years; daughters Victoria DiSabatino, Tracy Ingram (Ronnie) and Jacquelyn Lloyd; step-daughters Stephanie Osbourne and Stacy Osbourne; siblings Barbara Chara, Donald Lloyd (Patricia), David Lloyd (Carol) Steven Lloyd (Tanya) and 10 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents William Lloyd Sr. and Jean Lloyd.
There will be a visitation on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 from 2 – 4 p.m. with a prayer service at 4 p.m., located at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd., The Villages. Interment will be on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 11 a.m., located at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Saint Jude’s Hospital for Children.
