From 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 5 at Savannah Center, the public will get a chance to meet and talk with candidates running in Lake, Marion and Sumter counties as well as other candidates running for state and federal positions. This event, sponsored by the Villages Conservative Action Group, (which started in the Villages more than seven years ago), hopes to give people an opportunity to meet candidates they otherwise would only read about.
This event will also provide some of the candidates to speak for five minutes to the attendees.
Representatives from AMAC (Association for Mature American Citizens) and VCAG (Villages Conservative Action Group – Sponsors of this event) will also have booths.
