Talk about confusing! After reading about the issue of the Villages Health System only accepting the VILLAGES United Healthcare Medicare Advantage Plan, I became concerned. I have a United Healthcare Plan, however it is not the “VILLAGES” United Healthcare Medicare Advantage Plan. I made two phone calls – Villages Heath System tells me that I will not be eligible to use their facilities or doctors – I MUST have the “VILLAGES” United Healthcare Medicare Advantage Plan. Second call was to the United Healthcare office in Spanish Springs. The lady there told me that my plan would be accepted by any of the Villages Health System doctors and facilities. This is clearly a classic case of the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing. I give up! It appears they have become so wealthy, they can pick and choose their patients. Guess I’ll find medical care outside The Villages – PERIOD!
