A cleaning company is paying for the repair of lights at an office building after the son of a crew member shot them out with a BB gun.
The lights were shot out on the night of July 29 at the Sabal Palms office building on County Road 466 in Lady Lake, according to an incident report from the Lady Lake Police Department. The owner of the building found the BBs on the ground and surveillance captured video of a truck from which the shots were apparently fired. It was discovered that the damage was done by a 23-year-old son of one of the cleaning ladies. The company offered to pay for the approximately $500 in repairs and the building owner opted not to prosecute.
