A man’s wallet was stolen when he went swimming at Gator Joe’s in Ocklawaha.
The 18-year-old went for a swim between noon and 2 p.m. Friday at the popular beachfront restaurant, according to an incident report from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. He had left his wallet on the beach with his shoes when he was swimming in Lake Weir.
The wallet contained a school ID and bank debit card.
