A 40-year-old woman will have to appear in court later this month after she was found sleeping in the bushes at the Sharon L. Morse Performing Arts Center in Spanish Springs.
Ericka Yvonne Purvis of Valrico was found in the bushes a little after midnight on Aug. 3, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.
After a police officer woke her up, the officer discovered that Purvis had cocaine, drug paraphernalia and pills in a backpack. She was booked on a charge of cocaine possession at the Lake County Jail and released after posting $2,000 bond.
She is due back in Lake County Court on Aug. 29.
